Work History:
Microsoft Consultant
Senior Web Developer – CAQH
I lead developers in a move of another vendor’s code to a new web farm and database cluster. It involved over 6 months worth of work in C++, ATL Server, C#, ASP.NET and T-SQL. The website has over 1 million registered users and involved a data repository of over 6 Terabytes. The code base was incomplete and lacking structure and source control. We were online and testing a month before go live.
Senior Systems Development Specialist – Online Health Plan
I was the lead developer in rewriting ColdFusion web applications to ASP.NET and C#. I worked on various projects like HIPAA compliance, single sign on, and web services. The product was also performing badly and unstable when I took on the role. When I transitioned to CAQH, the server uptime (minus maintenance) was over a year.
Internet Projects Manager
I worked on various community internet projects while at WFYI. I also worked diligently to secure the online pledge applications and keep them PCI compliant. The sites were written in C# ASP.NET and classic ASP.
Internet / Intranet Web Developer
Most of my time at Trilithic was spent working with Sales and Marketing. I created a web application called Sales.NET that linked the corporate office with the technical sales professionals across the globe. I converted many classic ASP web sites to PHP.
Automation Developer
While at Tronitech, I increased efficiency in the data processing departments and automated the CD archival processes. I also consulted on all the other Tronitech applications and web sites. I worked in a vb script and C environment.
Trendoid Web Design (self employed), Fortville, IN 1999 – 2002
Web Developer
For many years I worked alone as a freelance web developer. I hosted many of the sites on my own servers and sold dial up internet service. I also did security consulting for large corporations worried about securing their web sites. The web sites I wrote at the time were written in perl and php.
Imaging Developer
Some of my fondest memories working in technology happened while at Com Microfilm. I worked with senior consultants on large government and commercial accounts. St. John’s Hospital was my favorite account and was very proud when I automated the Blue Cross Blue Shield reconciliation project. I used mostly vb script and Perl while at Com Microfilm.
